HG interiors is a residential interior design practice based in the leafy suburbs outside of Washington, DC. Led by Rachel Gao, we craft thoughtful interiors and the occasional garden. Our design philosophy is rooted in functional beauty. We create spaces that are aethestically elevated yet effortless to live in. With close attention to proportion, light, and craftsmanship, we design lasting interiors that fit each individual’s way of living. We work closely with a trusted network of local builders, vendors and craftspeople. These longstanding relationships ensure every project is brought to light to an exacting standard.
